Functions with compatible phone or tablets when set to ‘Bluetooth Mode’ (Power must be via a DCC controller or by a ‘flat’ DC supply*). Functions with all DC controllers when set to ‘DC Mode’. *(Ensure instruction manuals are consulted to ensure your new decoder is correctly powered – Failure to do so could result in damage to the decoder)

Sound Capable: Decoder pack Includes a high-fidelity sugar-cube speaker + various enclosures with easy to fit plug, allowing for high-quality sound in locomotives that previously did not have a speaker installed. (Installation required). Decoders will also function with locomotives that already have a speaker installed and will enhance the locomotive sound experience!

8-Pin Connection System: The perfect decoder to retrofit into DCC Ready locomotives that feature a 8-Pin connector. Please ensure that your locomotive, fits the size [28.5mm (l) x 8.5mm (w) x 4.5mm + 70mm (l) cable fly lead] of the decoder prior to any purchase. Advice on correct fitting can be provided through Hornby Customer Care if you are unsure
