It also helps protect internal metal fireplace fixtures and masonry chimneys from deterioration by keeping out rain, birds, animals, and debris. Made with a 24 gauge stainless steel hood with scalloped corners, 18 gauge 3/4" expanded stainless steel mesh, 16 gauge stainless steel base flanges and slotted hex-head bolts. Limited lifetime warranty. Made in the USA.
