GORE-TEX Upper Constructed from a suede upper, the Salewa Alp Trainer 2 Gore-Tex Walking Shoes offer a wider range of protection to help you get the most out of your shoes. Leather upper protects feet from debris and sharp objects and minimizes wear and tear. To avoid wet feet, and therefore moist spirits, a Gore-Tex membrane resides inside the shoe, providing a combination of durable waterproofing and optimized breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting sweaty feel, but GORE-TEX keeps water out while letting sweat escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you're cool and comfortable. The shoe uses the Salewa 3F system to further improve the fit. This system will improve the flexibility of the upper, which also provides support and fit without blisters, which will significantly improve the wearing experience of shoes, eliminating irritation and distractions that accompany an uncomfortable fit. Not only that, but the shoes have a 360 degree rubber rand present through the top for rock and ruff resistant protection. The specially designed climbing laces range from toe to ankle and are able to secure a tight fit when climbing, while also can be loosened for better comfort when descending.
