Park Tool BKD-1.2 Bleed Kit The BKD-1.2 Hydraulic Brake Bleed Kit bleeds most models of DOT fluid hydraulic disc brakes, including SRAM®, Formula®, Hayes® and Hope® models. By bleeding hydraulic brakes, air bubbles and impurities are removed from the braking system to ensure long component life and optimal performance. The BKD-1.2 is designed for tough everyday use and includes two syringes, hoses with shut-off clamps, vent blocks of various sizes and a set of our unique mountable syringe holders as well as multiple hose connections for the different standards applicable to hydraulic bicycle brake systems. All parts are interchangeable and available from Park Tool Housed in a durable storage case. The BKD-1.2 has been updated to improve compatibility and ease of use. What was added to BKD-1.2? - An additional syringe holder (part #2578A) for added convenience. - Two 11mm bleed blocks (part #2615-2) as specified for certain newer brake models including Hayes Dominion. What has been revised on the BKD-1.2? - All hose ends have been fitted with new captive connectors that greatly improve the quality of the seal during installation (accordingly, all hoses have new part numbers). - The hose compression sleeve (part #2588.2) has been redesigned with a thinner pipeline to allow access to tighter places found on some Hope brakes. What was removed from BKD-1.2: - The adapters for older Hayes brakes (parts #2610 & 2585-2) have been removed.
