Players play the role of the iconic X-Men and must work together to foil the plan of a powerful criminal controlled by the game or another player

Each criminal gradually reveals his plan, through cards that trigger different effects and that pose various challenges to heroes in different and famous places

Heroes must carefully choose the cards to play, which not only offer different actions and superpowers to use, but also combine with the actions of the other heroes to accomplish the impossible

The Gold Team expansion adds to the game a team of four and celebrated heroes, a sinister criminal, several locations and the revolutionary Team Against Team mode

In Team Against Team mode, players split into two teams of heroes: both will have to fight against the criminal, competing with each other to determine which of them will be able to deal damage to them
