This Handbook can be used on its own or in conjunction with the one hour, three hour, or six hour Trauma Informed ABA webinar courses on the BASICS ABA Therapy website: www.basicsabatherapy.com Saundra Bishop, an aclaimed public speaker, BCBA, Clinical Trauma Professional, and field practitioner has created an incredible resource. Her approach using behavior analytic principles and trauma informed ABA make this a must for all providers. About the Author: Saundra Bishop is the founder, Clinical Director, and Executive Director of the DC-based BASICS ABA Therapy. She is also the President of DCABA. She has over 18 years of experience working in Applied Behavior Analysis(ABA) and with people with Autism/Autistic people and has been a BCBA for over 13 years. She is especially passionate about Trauma-Informed Behavior Management and on using teaching models that focus on self advocacy rather than compliance. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and also certified to give trainings that qualify for CEUs for various professional groups. She enjoyed being a foster parent for 7 years and now has 4 wonderful daughters with and without special needs. She enjoys biking and competitive storytelling.
