The helmet complies with the ISMF regulation, which provides double approval according to the standards EN 12492 (mountaineering) and EN 1077/B (Alpine skiing). The dual certification guarantees professionals and amateur athletes an increased safety standard and, in particular, ensures better impact protection on the sides. To meet the stringent requirements of EN 1077/B, the Voyager features an in-mould construction that combines the advantages of this technology with those of the hard shells: outer shell made of extremely hard and shock-resistant plastic (ABS), interior made of expanded polystyrene (EPS), reinforced with a layer of polycarbonate (PC) to absorb shock and ensure extra resistance. For comfort, the 17 openings, the breathable base padding and the possibility to replace it with the sweat-resistant foam kit. The kit consists of a top, neck (to cover the dial) and a front part (in two different thicknesses, 5 and 10 mm, for ultimate personalisation). The removable ear protection can be hung in and out via side brackets. Worth mentioning is the exclusive mounting system for lamps and glasses with 3 rubber bands (2 side and 1 rear), which allows you to attach one or the other accessories even with gloves and without removing the helmet. The Voyager is also equipped with an internal RECCO® reflector, which allows the ski mountaineer to be located with a RECCO® detector in the event of an avalanche, accident or loss of orientation from the mountain rescue (note: this technology does not replace an LVS device).
