Description

The RCR-21 sensor is designed to detect movement. In addition, it has a built-in light intensity sensor that determines its operation depending on the degree of sunlight. The sensor can work directly with selected EXTA LIFE receivers or with the EFC-01 controller. In the case of the controller, it can participate in the automation of control processes for different devices in home installations after assigning the sensor to logical functions. The RCR-21 is based on a digital PIR sensor that allows a fairly precise change in sensitivity, which in turn is reflected in the adjustment of the operating range and the size of the detected objects. The sensor is equipped with an acceleration sensor with anti-sabotage function. The motion detection is signaled by an LED diode with switch-off function. The sensor can be powered by batteries (standard) or with an external power source (6-24V AC/DC) via the power supply PCL-21. With external power supply, the sensor configuration is possible. Base also allows the sensor output to be used to connect it to an alarm system, for example. The magnetic base allows for quick installation of the sensor, guarantees full mobility and convenient orientation. The sensor is intended for indoor use only (IP20).

Key Features

The RCR-21 sensor is a motion sensor (PIR) for radio control of the receivers of the EXTA LIFE system. It is characterised by a long range (up to 300 m outdoors)

The motion sensor can work with an unlimited number of EXTA LIFE receivers. In time mode, it can turn system receiver on and off simultaneously for a certain period of time.

The motion sensor is equipped with optical signalling of the sent information and the battery charge status. Powered by a battery

With the built-in twilight switch, you can lock the sensor operation e.g. during the day. The sensor can work in two modes: as a motion sensor or as a motion sensor with twilight switch.

The RCR-21 motion sensor communicates via radio transmission in the 868 MHz frequency band. The range can be increased by using a retransmitter or multiple REP-21 retransmitters.
