Description

Lambda sensors have long ago become an important technology for reducing pollutant emissions generated by internal combustion engines. For several years, motorcycles have also been equipped with catalytic converters and lambda sensors. Lambda sensors measure the oxygen content in the exhaust gas and report this value to the ECU. This then regulates the fuel-air mixture so that the catalyst can optimally convert the pollutants. Lambda sensors are wear parts that gradually lose their functionality over time. If this is the case, there may be poor, unround engine running, lower power, poor throttle response and higher fuel consumption. The catalyst no longer works properly, so the pollutant levels are increased. If the vehicle fails the exhaust gas test, this may also be due to a defective lambda sensor. Regular testing and, if necessary, replacing the lambda probe prevents these problems. NGK is one of the leading manufacturers of lambda sensors. Many motorcycle manufacturers rely on the quality of NGK in the original equipment. The open market motorcycle lambda sensors are also original equipment which means the parts are identical to the original parts.

Key Features

Optimum adjustment: NTK oxygen sensors guarantee optimum control of the air-fuel mixture.

Low emission values: Enables optimum operating conditions for the catalytic converter, which achieves the highest possible conversion values.

Also optimises fuel consumption and ensures a long service life for the catalytic converter.

Note: Please observe the general fitting instructions before installation!
