Description

Glass Demijohn with Screw Cap is intended for the fermentation of wines, beers, meads and for the storage of ready-made drinks. A handy handle will facilitate the transfer of liquid from the ridge tile. Technical data 1 Demijohn: Ridge size: 5 L ± 8%. Length 18 cm Width 18 cm Height 35 cm A plastic screw cap is included. Characteristic: The glass from which the carboys are made has all approvals allowing for contact with food products containing alcohol. It is a thermally unhardened glass. Usage: Thermal shock is always caused by rapid temperature changes, which is very dangerous for the glass integrity. It is recommended to wash the glass in lukewarm water with the addition of sanitiser (or steriliser), e.g. potassium metabisulphite or no-rinse cleaner. Please note: ① Glass demijohns may have slightly different shapes.
