Rund 250.000 Fans feierten eine fantastische Party mit Michi Beck, Thomas D, Smudo und And.Ypsilon. Jetzt veröffentlicht die Band ihr neues Projekt The Liechtenstein Tapes– mit 15 Studio-Neuaufnahmen aus über 30 Jahren Bandgeschichte. Die Vier interpretieren ihre größten Songs aus ganz unterschiedlichen Epochen so, wie sie heute, im Jahr 2022, klingen müssen. Die originale Studio-Version trifft auf das Beste der Live-Version. 2022 – was für ein Jahr. Erst Zittern: Kann die um zwei Jahre verschobene Jubiläumstour endlich gespielt werden? Dann totaler Abriss: Die Fantas-tischen Vier sind erstmals in den ganz großen Stadien unterwegs, 250.000 Fans kommen. Das Live-Album entert die Charts. Smudo: „Jahrelang immer wieder auf der Bühne live interpretiert sind vor allem nach Ende der 30 Jahre-Jubiläums-Tour die Fanta-Clics derart vollendet in der Blutbahn der Band und Musiker vorhanden, d sie unbedingt mit all dem vorhandenen und durchtrainierten Punch auf Ton-band verewigt gehören. Inklusive allem Zubehör: Synchronisierte Tonbandmaschinen, Weltkle-Pult und immersivem Audio.“ So fiel die Wahl auf die Little Big Beat Studios in Liechtenstein – ein etabliert-magischer Ort für Live-Sessions und damit der richtige Platz, den größten Fanta4 Songs endlich den Sound zu verleihen, den die Tracks verdient haben. Es entstanden 15 Neuaufnahmen aus über 30 Jahren Bandgeschichte. Die Fantastischen Vier stellen sich der Herausforderung, ihre größten Songs aus ganz unterschiedlichen Epochen ihres musikalischen Schaffens so zu interpretieren, wie sie heute, im Jahr 2022, klingen müssen: erwachsen, gereift aber niemals gealtert.
