Dynamo is a plug-in from Autodesk executable on many software. There is even a free version. Since 2020, a version of Dynamo is provided systematically with Revit. Programming tool (coding) and visual programming interface (creation of programs in manipulating graphic elements - see cover image), it allow : To homogenize the elements of several files to have a view overview of the project; To automate repetitive tasks in a model BIM (queries, macros) made up of one or more files; Access data from BIM models (regardless of the stage of the project and the request); To explore several design options by applying the generative design process (possibility to test rendering: change of facades, windows, addition of floors); To test the energy and environmental performances in BIM models; Export and import elements between Revit and other software (Python, Excel data or view exports); it's about only software that allows this operability. An advanced initiation work, this book is intended for users Revit. Real instructions for using Dynamo, from numerous examples and practical exercises offered according to a level progressive difficulty facilitate learning.
