Just clean, dry and sterile feeding accessories that protect tiny tummies. Ultraviolet is a form of invisible light that kills 99.9% of micro-organisms. It’s an effective way to disinfect against harmful bacteria, mould, viruses* and other germs without the use of chemicals and is often used to sterilise equipment used in hospitals, dentists and doctor’s surgeries. Now we’ve brought it into the home in a safe and easy-to-use unit. The highly reflective interior of the sterilising unit helps the UV light to bounce around to ensure all areas of your baby bottles and other feeding accessories are fully sterilised. Sterilise and dry up to 6 bottles in just 60 minutes or choose the 30-minute dry-only mode if your bottle is already sterile. In storage mode, the unit will run a programme that emits 5 minutes of UV light and 5 minutes of drying every 2 hours to ensure that items inside stay sterile. You can open the door and remove items, then choose the storage programme again. If the door is kept closed, the contents will remain sterile for up to 24 hours**. Our UV Steriliser is suitable for a wide range of branded bottles, soothers and breast pump accessories and features adjustable shelves. The steriliser unit features a replaceable and washable filter which helps keep dust and dirt particles out of the air used to dry your bottles and feeding accessories, so they stay clean once sterilised. The UV light is also perfect for quickly charging our glow in the dark products, such as our Night-Time Breast-Like Soother. Box Contains: 1 x UV Steriliser 1 x Spare Filter *Tested against Influenza H1N1 (tested to EN 16777) **When the sterilisation cycle is finished, either remove the bottles and accessories or leave the door closed and the contents will stay sterile for up to 24 hours. Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep Machine, Black The Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Perfect Prep Machine makes a fresh baby bottle at the right temperature in less than 2 minutes. When baby arrives, there's so much to do and so much to think about. That's why Tommee Tippee has created this ideal bottle preparation system. Specially designed to make bottle preparation even faster and more accurate, Perfect Prep gives parents the confidence and peace of mind that comes from knowing baby’s bottle will be perfect every time. The Perfect Prep is suitable for most brands of formula milk and has an adjustable base to accommodate different bottle sizes and shapes - all you have to do is measure the dosage, the Perfect Prep takes care of the rest. How does the Perfect Prep Machine work? Simply scoop your desired amount of baby milk formula into a baby bottle and place in the Perfect Prep™ machine. The machine then dispenses an initial ‘hot shot’ of water at 70°C which kills any bacteria that may be present in the formula as well as helping to dissolve the formula quickly and easily. Give the bottle a quick shake, then place it back under the dispenser to be topped up with cooler water. The built-in filter system removes impurities from the water, and the touch-sensitive button dispenses the precise amount of water needed from 4 fl oz to 11 fl oz. The result – a fresh baby bottle at body temperature - perfect, just like breast milk. How do I care for my Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep Machine? This easy to use bottle preparation machine features a clear warning light to indicate when you need to run a cleaning or descaling cycle and when it’s time to change the filter. It is extremely important that you only use Tommee Tippee antibacterial Perfect Prep Filters with the Perfect Prep Machine. Our filters feature a unique filtration membrane to remove bacteria and other contaminants that can be found in water. Most standard water filters do not include an anti-bacterial filtration membrane so will NOT remove bacteria.
