Featuring rods made with strong and responsive 24T carbon blanks that break down into either four or five pieces depending on the model, you can pack them into almost any bag or luggage. Despite the short transport length, the Diplomat rods offer moderate-fast to fast actions and fish like they were a standard two-piece. The Diplomat reels are strong and lightweight thanks to aluminium spools and feature 3+1 ball bearings in a 5:2:1 gear ratio. The whole set can be packed away while the reel is still mounted on the WFS reel seat thanks to the shape of the hard and durable travel tube case, which has room for the combo to remain rigged up while packed. These sets are ideal to keep in the back of your car, for travelling overseas on a holiday, or for times when you have limited luggage space. Just pack a few lures and you're ready to do battle.

Depending which model you choose, the rods in this range break down into four or five pieces making them perfect for travel, but they still fish and perform like a two-piece rod.

The strong and responsive 24T carbon blanks offer moderate-fast to fast blank actions, which help keep them versatile for a wide range of fishing situations.

Rods are finished with high-quality Abu Garcia WFS reel seats and lightweight stainless steel LTS guides.

The Abu Garcia Diplomat reels in these combos have 3+1 bearings in a 5:2:1 gear ratio. They also feature strong and lightweight aluminium spools and a super-smooth rotation when retrieving.

Supplied in a tough and durable protection tube that includes space for the reel, so you don't need to disconnect it from the rod when you pack it away for travelling.
