EASY TO GROW AROMATIC HERB: Basil is a very popular and easy to grow herb that needs little maintenance. Basil is an annual plant that requires plenty of sunshine and warmth so it is best grown indoors in pots although it can be planted outside during the summer in the warmer parts of the UK. When seedlings are big enough to handle, pot them on into individual pots filled with a peat-free, soil-based compost. Pinch out tips to encourage bushy plants.
