Going back to exploring new places, led by the wish to renovate the spirit, through an intimate contact with the sea, is the inspiration behind the latest summer '23 swimwear offer by Emporio Armani. Whether riding the waves on a surfboard or on the prow of a sailing boat, travelling to far and exotic destinations, the Emporio woman has always been moved by curiosity and the taste for different cultures and worlds. The collection is opened by a unisex pattern of Japanese ideograms; its coral and turquoise tones, bright as neon, stand out on the black background. We also find them on the liquid looking swimsuits, metallic and reflecting thanks to thousands of light touches. Whereas sculptured quilted neoprene items take inspiration from the more traditional wet-suits, revisiting the iconic suit in a contemporary key. Ropes and lines, emblematic elements of the marine world, become a graphic pattern in the classic white and marine blue tones; we find them as printed or jacquard patterns on swimsuits, fleece items and accessories, from the maxi raffia bag to espadrilles; the new ribbed Lycra, with eyelet patterns or small silver snap-hooks, is used both for swimsuits and beach frocks. A vast offer of out-of-water items, in full Armani style, in light poplin or viscose, perfectly matches and accompanies the whole collection. New, hyper feminine, models are presented in silver threaded velvet and Lycra lurex, in black or jungle green, with the addition of a sophisticated animalier print. The set is completed by shantung effect Lycra swimsuits with silk looking tassels and fringes, matched with luxury viscose frocks and the wide brimmed hat, all in total black.
