With 4 ohm impedance and a balanced silk dome tweeter on a sealed bridge, they pair firm low end from a polypropylene woofer with smooth, detailed treble. Built for the elements, the Stage 8 uses a UV resistant one piece polymer basket, sealed motor and magnet, rubber surrounds and a polypropylene cone. The front of the speaker is IPx5 rated, and the marinized design resists sun, salt, spray and wash downs while maintaining consistent performance. The bridge mounted tweeter also improves power handling for highs and mids. The RGB illuminated cone adds visual impact. It can display seven colours when hard wired to vessel lighting, with more options via an external controller. Installation stays tidy thanks to a twist lock grille system with two finishes, gloss white and satin grey, hiding the mounting fasteners.
