The bin has a smooth foot-pedal operated opening and a soft-closing lid, with a handy locking feature that keeps the lid open when replacing bin liners. Even when placed against a wall, the lid opens fully without contact, and the firm-grip base with non-slip feet ensures the bin stays in place during use. Designed for use with 20 or 30 litre bin liners, the removable inner bucket includes a feature that securely holds and conceals the liners from view when the lid is closed, maintaining its sleek appearance. For cleaning, simply remove the plastic bucket and wash it and the bin with a soft sponge and mild detergent, avoiding abrasive products to prevent scratching the stainless steel.
