DIGITUS EV charging cable is compatible with all electric cars (EV) and plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV) that have a CCS or Type 2 charging port and are charged with AC
Single-phase charging cable for max. 7.4 kW / 32 A are usually used for home charging of a hybrid vehicle - 7.5 metres of cable length is sufficient for most electric vehicles and charging situations
For charging outdoors, the charging cable complies with protection class IP55 (jet water protected), so a secure connection between charging station and charging socket (charging inlet) is possible
For straight car charging cables, the specified length is fully usable - it can be placed around the e-mobile, so that the parking position is no longer specified by the position of the charging station
Thanks to IEC type 2 plug and socket (EU standard IEC 62196-2), the Mode 3 cable can be used on almost any charging station and wallbox in Europe for charging electric cars and other electric vehicles
