NRS Healthcare 2-in-1 Bed Rail M48192 for Support This NRS Healthcare 2-in-1 Bed Rail is designed to provide a stable support for users getting in and out of bed. Perfect to help move from a lying to sitting position, as well as reposition in the bed, allowing the user to retain independence. The reversible plastic base allows use on both hard top divan and slatted beds. Please note not suitable for use with sprung top divan or profiling beds. The innovative shape of the ergonomic handle can be used whichever way round the user prefers, and is easily reversible with the e-clips making it suitable for either side of the bed, and left or right handed users. Supplied with two easy to fit straps to hold securely in place across the bed. Suitable for bed sizes from single to king size. The strong base increases the rigidity of the handle and enables a maximum user weight of 25st (160kg). However, the base is also very slim at only 1.5cm (0.5”) tall which minimises the impact of fitting the base between bed base and mattress. Supplied flat packed for simple home assembly, with full instructions for use and fitting. Easy to wipe clean. Supplied in white. This M66625 version is the standard width, with a gap of 453mm (17¾“) between the arms (if you need a wider version, the M92740 has a wider arm gap and is available separately).The one-piece, moulded, contoured seat has been ergonomically designed to give good thigh support and the gentle slopes give a high level of overall comfort and a front cutaway allows easier personal cleaning. The epoxy coated steel frame comes fully assembled and therefore is ready to use straight away. The numbered inner legs make height adjustment quick and easy and the frame legs have four non-slip ferrule feet to maximize stability. Made from high-quality material, the seat is higher at the back making it particularly suitable for a person who needs extra support to sit and rise. It is also stackable and can be autoclaved up to 70 degrees C.
