Being battery powered, the chainsaw requires less maintenance than a petrol chainsaw, and has an auto-oiling system keeping the chain lubricated. The DCMCS575 XR has a tooled chain tensioning system built to professional specifications, helping to ensure the chain remains reliably tensioned, during use.
