Trophy Hunting & Britain: The Case for a Ban: A report of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Banning Trophy Hunting

Dozens of the world's top scientists, conservationists and African community leaders are urging the British Government to press ahead with its proposed ban on hunting trophies. This report, by a cross-party Parliamentary committee, carries testimony from 35 leading experts including IUCN scientists, CITES officials, and wildlife conservationists. They say the government’s proposed ban will aid wildlife and help bring an end to what many call an archaic and cruel sport. The 278-page, 117,000-word report is believed to be the most comprehensive review of trophy hunting produced by any legislative body in the world. Its publication coincides with the 7th anniversary of the killing of Cecil the lion.
