99999 (Broken Silence) Auf Sand Gebaut

Second studio album by the Munich singer/songwriter Florian Paul together with his formation DIE KAPELLE DER LETZTEN HOFFNUNG. "Built on Sand" combines songwriter pop with chanson, rock, jazz and world and creates a deep insight into the current attitude of Generation Y with hip-hop pioneer JAN DELAY as a fan and mentor in the back. Releases as CD on MILLAPHON RECORDS. 2015 as a film and theatre music student of Gerd Baummann with the multi-instrumentalists Nils Wrasse (Mark Forster), Sam Hilton, Robin Jermer (both Ark Noir) and FLURIN MÜCK (DREIVIERTELBLUT), was made directly on the first EP "The Blue Cat" and following the the press highly acclaimed album "in between". After several hundred thousand streams, a Berlinale film soundtrack and performances at some major festivals ("Theatron Musiksommer" or "Obstwiesenfestival"), the formation was awarded the "Young Songmaker" awarded by the Hanns Seidel Foundation in 2020. Over two years, Florian Paul has worked on his second studio album "Built on Sand" - now it's finally here. Together with his THE CHAPEL OF THE LAST HOPE a separate pop design is created somewhere between "Element of Crime" and "Faber" with an impressive musical range. Again and again, the sound draws with massive winds on Cinemascope and reveals that the band consists mostly of film composers. And not least because of his long-standing connection to the film, the young singer has also made a music film belonging to the album parallel to the development of the album. The film with ELISA SCHLOTT, OLIVER STOKOWSKI and PAUL LUX (Netlfix hit "Dark") extremely prominently cast will be seen in full length from September.
