Theological Reflections: With Bonuses

This work takes us into the origin and development of 'Theology", what it stands for, what it means and how it solidifies the various religious traditions of the world. A comprehensive Introduction to the work is an eye-opener to the reservoir of knowledge buried within, and is treated under the following: Theology As An Academic Discipline; As a Ministerial Training. Theology's Attitude to Science and Religion; Science and Theology: A Critical Realist Perspective; How Theology is a Science; How Theology is the Queen of the Sciences, and so on. The contents of these subheadings are bumper packed, treating the topics in greater detail, richly referenced and with lots of information from the Internet website. This Introduction alone covers well over 45 pages. The book handles major aspects of theology in well over 620 pages. Some of the major issues treated in Part One, apart from the Introduction, include Reformation and Counter-Reformation, depicting the role of Martin Luther, a one-time Augustinian Monk, and his associates (from chapter 9). In Part Two, we shall study all about The Triune God, doctrine on the Trinity and its Trinitarian Controversy (from chapter eleven). From chapter 13, we shall delightfully study Christology and the vexatious Christological Controversy. Moving from chapter 15, Pneumatology, a doctrine on the Holy Spirit, is fully treated. This is followed by the doctrine on Creation, followed by the Problem of Evil. From chapter 19 under Part Three, topical discourses include the Apostolic Fathers and the Apologists. The Canon of Scriptures comes in handy to authenticate the Church's teaching on the Word of God, and is followed by analytical exposition on Inspiration of the Bible and Biblical Inerrancy. More information enriching the work calls it a day on our journey, from the Internet Website in chapter 23.
