This backward-looking radar with camera records drive in 1080p, 30fps for up to 5 hours and saves at any incident the automatic film before, during and after the situation. Battery life is extended if resolution is set to 720p. In addition, the bicycle radar light makes one more easily visible by other vehicles on traffic. The Varia RCT716 connects to a Garmin Edge bike computer or Varia app on a compatible smartphone and alerts one to traffic up to 140 away. On the app, one can live stream video or watch recorded video afterwards.
