In the upper area, we use a particularly abrasion-resistant ripstop material that has been produced particularly climate-friendly: a certified mass balancing process is used for the recycled main material polyamide. Pyrolysis oil is obtained from old tyres, which is supplied to conventional polyamide production. Chemical recycling saves up to 60% CO2. The sustainable PrimaLoft® padding made from recycled PET bottles ensures cosy warmth. This environmentally friendly winter vest is made with Eco Finish environmentally friendly, water-repellent without fluorocarbons (PFC). The Vaude Green Shape label stands for an environmentally friendly, functional product made from sustainable and bluesign® certified materials. As a member with Leader Status at the independent Fair Wear organisation, Vaude is committed to fair working conditions and fair wages. In addition, this product is climate-neutral: emissions from materials, manufacturing process and shipping have been determined and systematically reduced. Currently unavoidable emissions have been fully compensated by the independent non-profit organisation "myclimate".
