Reliable and robust Why plastic - why not? The high-quality 5OX plastic pedal is not worse in terms of weight and durability than the same version made of aluminium. In case of hard contacts with e.g. stones and rocks, the material can yield and has usually endured more in our tests than the aluminium version. For this reason, we rely on plastic and do not use an aluminium version. The storage here is important to us - we have installed the best and most durable bearings. The three different axle lengths ensure a physiologically natural foot position on the pedal. Suitable for larger feet, a V-shaped foot position or larger sitting bone distances that usually require a higher Q factor. The slightly concave and outward rotating pedal surface allows an ergonomic stand on the pedal and at the same time creates enormous grip. To create a maximum tread surface, it closes flush with the pedal axle. This means that there is no annoying increase of the pedal surface on the inside of the foot, as with many other flat pedals.
