The merino provides optimal wicking warmth and soft, next-to-skin comfort, while lyocell brings additional moisture absorption and freshness, making this tee ideal for alpine mountaineering and alpine climbing. Enhanced thermoregulation In addition, this baselayer has smart synthetic polyamide filaments loaded with a unique blend of natural thermoreactive minerals. These Responsive yarns have the ability to absorb far-infrared radiation (FIR) from your body and slowly release it back into the muscle tissue over time. The resulting increased blood flow, cellular performance and oxygenation leads to more effective thermoregulation, better performance and faster recovery. Responsive is an integral part of the fabric and does not wash out. The short-sleeved version of this women’s baselayer has a tight, close-fitting athletic cut and attractive jacquard knit that requires no elastane for stretch. Its polyamide content also makes it more hardwearing and shape retentive. Made using an advanced circular knitting process, resulting in a seamless one-piece torso with no seams at the sides for greater comfort and no chafing. And thanks to the high percentage of merino wool, the Zebru also naturally fights odour build-up. A fine, lightweight merino baselayer for use in changeable alpine conditions.
