Description Salewa Alp Trainer 2 Gore-Tex walking shoes proven in the "Monti Pallidi", the Italian Dolomites, the Alp Trainer 2 Gore-Tex is a low-cut alpine hiking and trekking shoe designed for increased comfort during intensive alpine use during long mountain days. GORE-TEX Upper Constructed from a suede upper, the Salewa Alp Trainer 2 Gore-Tex Walking Shoes offer a wider range of protection to help you get the most out of your shoes. Leather upper protects feet from debris and sharp objects and minimizes wear and tear. To avoid wet feet, and therefore moist spirits, a Gore-Tex membrane resides inside the shoe, providing a combination of durable waterproofing and optimized breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting sweaty feel, but GORE-TEX keeps water out while letting sweat escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you're cool and comfortable. The shoe uses the Salewa 3F system to further improve the fit. This system will improve the flexibility of the upper, which also provides support and fit without blisters, which will significantly improve the wearing experience of shoes, eliminating irritation and distractions that accompany an uncomfortable fit. Not only that, but the shoes have a 360 degree rubber rand present through the top for rock and ruff resistant protection. The specially designed climbing laces range from toe to ankle and are able to secure a tight fit when climbing, while also can be loosened for better comfort when descending. EVA midsole to provide your feet with an exceptional level of cushioning and underfoot comfort, the Alp Trainer 2s uses an EVA midsole compound. Sparing your joints when hitting on hard, ruthless surfaces, the midsole allows you to go further longer. By flooding shocks, it works to protect you when you hit down and also disperses shock to propel you forward
