Designed to provide solid protection, the durable upper is crafted from premium suede and finished with a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane and a 360 degree rubber trim for added stone and stain resistant protection. Salewa proprietary, trademarked 3F system allows for a precise, supportive and enveloping fit. Its steel cable provides firm ankle protection and lateral stability, while the climbing lacing allows adjustment to the toes for better performance on rocks. The EVA midsole provides superior cushioning and excellent comfort for a technical shoe. Underfoot, the Vibram Alpine Hiking outsole, available exclusively from SALEWA, offers improved performance and control in a variety of mountain terrain and stands out even in wet and muddy conditions thanks to its special climbing, traction and braking zones and aggressive stud pattern.
