The long base version of the Swigzy car cup holder adapter has been designed specifically for vehicles with deep or recessed cup holders. A quick selection guide to see which version you need is provided in the product photos. Our long base version comes standard with a base that is 3.75” long. Also included is an additional spacer that can add an extra 1” to the base, for a total of 4.75”. If needed, the base can also be returned to the same length as our standard-length version (2.75”). A Philips screwdriver is all that’s needed to adjust the length of the base. The long base version has the same great features as our standard-length version. It is designed for 2.8"-3.85" diameter bottles and cups. The tabs are made from a proprietary material selected to make it easy to insert and remove bottles from the adapter. The adjustable base is designed to fit most car cup holders (see picture with dimensions to ensure it will work with your vehicle) and adjusts from 2.6”-3.8” in diameter. The Swigzy adapter allows you to offset the bottom of the adapter with a single adjustment screw. The benefits of the offset base are: Adapter will not block the adjacent cup holder two adapters can be used side by side Adapter can still work where a center console lid, emergency brake, dash, or lid covering the car’s cup holders would normally prevent the adapter from fitting properly. The Swigzy adapter has multi-length tabs which allows it to hold most 20oz – 40oz bottles securely.
