Martyrologium Romanum

The Roman Martyrology as approved for use in 1962. The Latin text of the Martyrologium Romanum "editio quarta post typicam" (1956), which was the latest typical edition through 1962. The additions and modifications detailed in the 1961 CDF decree "Variationes in Martyrologio Romano" are fully integrated. As such, this Justitias Books edition is the first and only that integrates exactly with the 1962 Missale Romanum, Calendar and the office of Prime of the 1961 Breviarium Romanum. As a practical edition, the extensive indices and historical tracts of the typical edition are omitted, and an appendix is added which briefly lists (in calendar order) the 600+ saints which have been formally canonized since 1960.
