Named after the Jasmine Flower, Jasmine Rice is a long grain rice native to Thailand with a delicate floral and buttery scent. Puregro Jasmine Fragrant Rice is a Premium Quality Rice. The secret to cooking it perfectly is getting the right ratio of water to rice. Jasmine Rice is softer than most white rice, which means you need less water in order for the rice to cook, so it's soft and fluffy. While most rice is cooked with 1 ½cups of water for each cup of rice, Jasmine Rice is reduced to 1 ¼ cups of water. 100% Jasmine Rice Ingredients 100% Jasmine Rice Directions Rinse 1 cup of rice. Add to a pot with 1 ¼ cups of water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15-18 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
