OUR HISTORY: Levante Fútbol Club was born in 1909 in Valencia together with Gimnástico Fútbol Club. Due to the difficult economic situation after the Civil War, these two teams merged in 1939 to establish Levante Unión Deportiva. The well-known blue and burgundy colours Levante UD wears today were inherited from Gimnástico Fútbol Club. If we take 1909 as the year of formation, Levante UD is the oldest club formed in Valencia

OUR GREATEST SUCCESSES: In 1962, they first promoted to First Division; having been 16 seasons in the highest category to this day. They’ve won several tournaments, such as the Festa d'Elx Trophy or the Ciudad de Zaragoza Trophy. In the 2012-13 season, the greatest accomplishment in the history of Levante UD was achieved, when they qualified for Europa League

OUR SCOPE: Levante are not just the football team we see in First Division. Levante UD are all the boys and girls who live every part of the team: Youth Academy and Levante UD Masclets, the section of the club for adapted sport. In addition, Levante also has their Cent Anys Foundation, which focuses on the development of the social policies of Levante UD and develops its activities in three areas: social, education/training and sports
