OUR HISTORY: Villarreal was originated in the Valencian province of Castellón. Founded in 1923, and better known as ‘The Yellow Submarine’ — for the colour of their shirt — they were runners-up in La Liga in the 2007-08 season. Villareal have won 3 international titles: UEFA Europa League champions, UEFA Super Cup runners-up, and champions and runners-up in 2 straight years in Intertoto Cup

OUR GREATEST SUCCESSES: The yellow submarine have achieved numerous successes, such as being runners-up in La Liga at a national level. On the international scene, the team have won 3 titles: UEFA Intertoto Cup twice (2003 and 2004) and one UEFA Europa League in 2021. In addition, in the 2005-06 Champions League, Villareal reached the semi-finals of the tournament, being the best newcomers in the competition
