Description

Soft effect filters can create a softening effect on the shooting object. For this reason, soft effect filters are generally used in portrait photography to smooth the model silhouette, or when shooting floral subjects, etc. for a dreamlike effect. Recently, a growing trend shows more and more photographers, both professionals and amateurs, using soft effect filters in nightscape photography to soften the brightest stars and make constellations standing out. However, sometimes this softening effect may be too heavy. Kenko PRO1D Prosofton Clear filter performs half the effect compared to regular soft filters, thus keeping the stars still enhanced but making the foreground looking sharper.

Key Features

Soft filter ideal for starscape photography and nightscape photography.

Weak soft effect makes the starry sky and constellations stand out while clearing buildings and landscapes.

Useful for the portrait photography.

Digital multi-coating and black rimmed glass suppresses light reflection down to 0.5% and below.

Low profile frame for the wide angle lenses.
