This book is an edited book which contains original and some referred review articles in geophysics, especially in gravity and earthquake seismology which covers potential theory for computation of gravity anomalies, determination of seismic source parameters using moment tensor inversion, tomography application for post-hypocenters in the Korean Peninsula, tectonic feature investigation for Hokkaido Island, Japan including the forecasting volcano eruptions in Mt. Baekdu (Baekdusan) and Tokachi-dake and Mt. Usu, Hokkaido, Japan. I also described the seismotectonics of Mongolia based on earthquake catalogue and focal mechanism as well as large active surface faults which I explored with one of co-authors (Dr. Bayasgalan Amgalan) for the field work in Mongolia. It is very significant to note that the tectonics of Mongolia and the Baikal Lake is the origin of the Amurian Plate, AKA Baikal–Korea Plate and the East Sea.Finally I also included exploration seismology, statistical earthquake prediction and seismic risk evaluation in the Korean Peninsula using historical and instrumental earthquakes. Finally I included some problems in geophysics and seismology for some experts to encourage studying this field for exercises.
