Final Edition Book Life Changing Day

Growing up I was inspired by my father and mother, but something else inspired him and took my father out of my life. He would rather drink than be sober to hang around his kids, and without someone to have emotional feelings with close to you I was lost in this world without a father. On my senior year, back in 2007 on September the 19th I had a major tragedy in my life and nearly caused me to lose it. It was the day right before homecoming at school I was in my mom’s sports car had to go clean up for the next day and carry the homecoming queen in the parade. But little did I know would end up in a car wreck, airlifted to the MED in Memphis, Tennessee on my flight “blue-coded or flat lined” two times, and was put in a medical induced coma. I was put in a coma, I came out had to walk, talk, and every major and minor activates all over again. Thanks to Shepard Center in Atlanta, Georgia this place works miracles and helps people with brain injuries. Because this is where I ended up at, this place had me up and waking within a week; I had a goal to achieve and a message to get out.Have you ever heard this is another life? I got to experience that life; it was the God I was taught about “Jesus Christ.” I have always heard about the golden road and the twelve gates to heaven. I walked through those gates and a man came down with a long beard in a white rob and said “Mr. Robert Wood Hicks 3rd what are you doing here so soon? You have a lot to do with your life your time is not taken yet.” “You have family this way and people you know this way. I want you to talk and conversate with them and after you are through I want you to think of what you are doing to your family and friends. I will put you in a state of mind were you can’t move or have control over your body but can hear what’s going on around you. I will give signs to the people that I have control over you and that you are recovering. Sit back and listen to what you have done to your family and friends; after you come out there’s a message I want you to send out for me. People are not living their lives in a way to do or make something with your life. For what you want out of live will have to work for it, nothing in this world should be giving to you, need to work for it to know you have earned it. I will put you back in a state that you will need a drive and push yourself to know and show me you want your life back; to get through life will need to have these same habits to achieve your dreams.” I have been in college since 09 still had the traits of a kid or teenager, but I knew my life had some meaning and purpose. That’s why I have been going to college and taking the time to write this book on the side to show kids and teens that nothing can hold you back just need to have some seed planted in your mind it will grow if you keep working with it. With life have to work for what you want also make right and wrong choices; can’t be guided your whole way through life need to be raised with good intentions with life and learn from your mistakes and make wise choices after. If life was perfect and can have what you want or need; what would be the purpose? Some people make dumb choices and live to tell about it while others are not that lucky. I want you to go out and make wise choices with your life, there will be some work required on you part; if you really care and want to succeed nothing will stop you.
