Wesco is founded in 1867 by Martin Westermann, initially as a plumbing workshop. At the turn of the century, the company Martin Westermann & Co. develops from this company. Over the course of the following years, new products are continuously added to the manufacturing program, such as coffee bottles for miners. Increasingly, the company specialised in the processing of sheets for household goods and constantly expanded the range. Today, 120 employees are employed at the company's headquarters in Arnsberg, as many in the subsidiary in Schwarzenberg. From Arnsberg, the products are widely exported to over 50 countries. In addition to the household goods range and the extensive installation range, outdoor kitchens have also been part of the product range for some time. The pieces of furniture are handmade in the factory at the Arnsberg site. Wesco is therefore still a metal manufacturer in a clic sense.
