Resin sculptures are the culmination of the research conducted to create refined, colourful and fancy decorative objects for contemporary and trendy spaces. Most are made of resin, a material now widely used for the manufacture of decorative objects. The method of manufacturing a resin sculpture is entirely artisanal. The ideas of our designers are translated into paper blanks, from which emeritus sculptors hand shape a clay model called the "soul" that will be used to make rubber molds. The resin is added with a hardening liquid, then manually poured into the molds. Once the resin is cured, the molds are opened and the raw sculptures are extracted. Before they can be decorated, they are grinded, repaired, sanded and washed manually. When the surface is perfect, a thick paint called "primary" is applied by projection, and will serve as a basis for the final decoration, which will differ depending on the effect to be obtained: matte, glossy, metallized or otherwise. The sculptures that their shape makes unstable are mounted on a marble support. This is why all these manual processes are necessary to create these works before they come to decorate your home, with a totally different craft value from standardized plastic objects made on automatic machines. The sculpture is shipped in adequate packaging, accompanied by the certificate of guarantee of artisanal manufacture.
