The Codex Amiatinus had never before been transcribed in it's complete texts before this release. The Codex Amiatinus is the oldest living Latin vulgate in existence. Written around 600 A.D., it predates the oldest surviving Torah by 600 years. This transcription has replaced the codes within with their original texts. When this was written, the usage of V and U, and I and J were interchangeable. This edition has corrected this. original transcription: ego svm a et Ω primvs et novissimvs principivm et finis corrected transcription: ego sum α et Ω primus et novissimus principium et finis If these texts were standard point and Times New Roman on 8.5x11in paper and single spaced would equal 1632 pages. These texts are on 8.25x11in pages, 0.9 spaced, Garamond 9 point font, 3 columns, hyphenated. Includes glossary of every word used for faster translation, and error correction of the original. This version retains the old Latin spellings for error omission.
