CASTELLI Go Jacket

Description If you are looking for a suitable jacket for all situations, you are in the right place. We used our lightest three-layer stretch fabric, the GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER®, which makes this jacket suitable for mild conditions. Its elasticity gives the jacket an excellent fit. This is the same outer fabric used for our Alpha RoS 2 Jacket, which Cyclingnews.com has called "the benchmark for performance that the best winter jacket should offer." But the Go Jacket does without the built-in lining of the Alpha model, allowing you to choose the degree of insulation you need. Add a Flanders Warm underwear shirt and a thermal jersey to bring comfort even at sub-zero temperatures. But the qualities of the fabric are only the starting point. We have adapted the fit so that it is snug but not overly tight. This gives the jacket a perfect fit, complemented by details such as the seamless trim at the hem and the colored chest pocket with zipper. The hidden inner cuffs provide a nice touch of comfort and you'll appreciate how they keep the wind from entering your wrists. On the back there are three pockets with a large reflective strip that extends across the bottom of the pockets themselves to make you visible at night. Where does this jacket fit in our line? As for the warmth it offers, it is similar to the Perfect RoS Long Sleeve model but with a more studied and elegant look, with a slightly wider fit and with a degree of protection in the presence of slightly lower humid climate.
