Description A 1.4 to 1.6 mm thick cowhide leather motorcycle shoe, with a timeless style like from the 60s, with a wedge sole and moccasin toe. It has been redesigned by Alpinestars for use when motorcycling with a special shape for the shift pedal and inner padding for riding comfort. This shoe is part of the Oscar by Alpinestars product line of the traditional Alpinestars brand. This new version of the Monty shoe features a stronger full-grain leather upper construction that reinforces the structure and durability of the shoe, while a new midsole layer provides improved walking comfort. CONSTRUCTION A new additional frame to reinforce heritage styling. Hidden side zip or easy on and off, with elastic insert on the tongue to hold and securely store the laces loops. The shoe height has been designed to better cover the ankle, while the outsole blend has been revised to ensure optimal grip. The external lacing system helps to adjust foot volume. PROTECTION Dual density medial and external ankle shell protects the ankle area from impact, with a reinforced heel counter and toe box for added strength. The Monty V2 is a protective shoe; the ankle protection discs are integrated into the elastic band and the lateral and medial sides are designed at different heights to better cover the ankle.
