The VEO 3T 235CBP Lightweight Compact Travel Tripod transforms from a tripod to a monopod, with an Arca compatible ball-head that can includes a removable pan handle and a quick release plate that can fit any smartphone up to 85mm wide. Perfect for photographers or vloggers who want to shoot photos or videos with either a digital camera or a smartphone. Designed for maximum portability, this 5-section carbon fibre tripod features 23mm diameter legs that fold down to just 41cm and weighs just 1.6kg. Despite this portability, the tripod extends to 155cm and has a maximum load capacity of 8kg. It also includes a low angle adaptor (or reversible central column) which combined with three easy set leg angles (20°, 50° and 80°) allow you to take low angle or macro shots in the field. When needed, the tripod can be converted to a monopod that extends to 158cm in seconds, saving the need for a separate monopod. To convert to a monopod in seconds, simply unscrew the appropriate leg, remove the centre column and screw the two together for a monopod. For additional accessories, the canopy of the tripod has two 3/8" threads that allow additional support arms to be attached to add lights, monitors, microphones, etc. and saving the need to carry multiple stands for the best shot. The tripod includes a VEO BP-50T Arca compatible ball head with large ergonomic clocking knobs, including a separate pan-lock for perfect panoramas. In addition, it includes a pan-handle that can be attached to offer additional control, especially useful for taking occasional video or using a spotting scope. The QS-72T Arca compatible quick release plate is 70mm long allowing it to fit a longer lens or to adjust the centre point of the camera above the tripod. In addition, this quick release plate includes a Universal Smartphone Connector for smartphones 55-85mm wide, with a cold shoe mount above and a 1/4" thread on the side for extra accessories like a microphone or light. Combined with the Bluetooth remote control for IOS or Android phones, this quick release plate and head are ideal for taking your smartphone photography and video to anther level. Alternatively, using the monopod leg allows the tripod to be converted to a selfie stick. Manufactured with CNC technology using aircraft grade aluminium ensures outstanding quality, and for maintenance, the easy clean twist locks can be fully unscrewed, allowing you to clean the leg locks after use for maximum longevity.
