F-105 Thunderchief Illustrated

The F-105 Thunderchief, aka "Thud" carried the majority of the Rolling Thunder bombing campaign to North Vietnam from 1965 to 1968. This is a chronicle of the career of the Thud, in the words of the pilots who flew the Thud into the teeth of the most heavily defended airspace in the history of aerial warfare, and in dozens of photos, both color and black and white. Many of these photos have never before been published. The book is also illustrated with the art of the author.
