ABUS Moventor 2.0 MIPS – Mountain bike helmet for safety on steep trails Like its predecessor, the Moventor, the Moventor 2.0 MIPS is an all-mountain helmet. The MIPS version features additional impact protection integrated into the helmet. This feature provides even better protection for the heads of adventurous mountain bikers. Steep climbs, high-speed racing attacks, all-day adventures – protect your head when riding down country. The Moventor 2.0 MIPS is designed to meet the demands of mountain bikers. The MTB helmet is lightweight, well ventilated and has a deeper fit that provides more protection at the back of the head. When the trail points downhill, ten air inlets and nine air outlets ensure good ventilation. In addition to a host of well-thought-out features for off-road use, the MIPS model has impact protection. This is designed to protect the brain, especially if the rider hits their head at an angle in a fall. This exposes the brain to strong rotational movements that can lead to serious brain injuries. The MIPS has a movable, low-friction plastic shell integrated into the helmet, which reduces rotation and provides better protection for the head.
