Please note: The electrical signals coming from the source are converted into optical at the cable input - in the plug - and converted back to electrical at the cable end. Therefore, the signal flow takes place in one direction. The ports are marked "Input" and "Output". The plug marked "Input" connects to the signal source and the one marked "Output" to the display terminal/monitor.
