(Full screen open: 198 x 157 x 20 cm) Green screens are primarily used to better cut out the background and fade in the digital video reprocessing and view against a new background. This is used, for example, in Hollywood films, when an actor is meant to ride on a dragon in the final film – whereby he originally sits on a wooden frame. Often greensscreens are also used by messagers. To understand how these backgrounds work purely technically, you must keep in mind that the human skin does not have a green content, but the skin colour is almost the opposite side of the colour scale.
