Description

The high pressure diesel pump on the Nissan 2.2 and 2.5 diesel engines is driven off the camshaft drive chain. To remove the pump without disturbing the timing chain the fuel pump sprocket must be locked in position. The Laser 8075 is designed to lock the sprocket and allow the pump to be removed while maintaining the tension on the timing chains.
