Description

For these 50 years, this 2LP noir edition offers the original Live album 'Grateful Dead - Skull & Roses', remastered by sound engineer David Glasser (Grammy® Award winner). This remastering was made according to the original analog master bands combined with Plangent Process Speed Correction technology. Famous for its iconic cover designed by Alton Kelly and Stanley Mouse, the Dead's second Live dubbed 'Skull & Roses', recorded in March-April 1971 in New York and San Francisco, allowed the band to win their first gold record. The historical quintet delivers powerful titles Rock 'n'Roll ('Johnny B. Goode, ''Not Fade Away'), the roboratives and Bakersfieldians 'Me & My Uncle', 'Mama Tried', 'Me & Bobby McGee'), not to mention the must-see of their repertoire (' Bertha ''Playing In The Band', 'Whard', 'Whard' F Rat', the central piece 'The Other One').
